Landrover Series 2a LWB
As used by the Australian Salvation Army known to the Australian troops as “The Sally Men”.
They brought tea,biscuits,books and reminders of home to troops serving all the way up to the front line.
Undergoing a chassis up restoration over 2022-2023 hopefully to return with tea and biscuits summer 2024.
Update November 2023 : Sal is back running under own power and has had various coats of paint. Unfortunately with the winter now fully set in final coats and fitting of ancillaries will have to wait till warmer weather. Hopefully the old girl will now make the 2024 season.
Sal made her return to the road at Military Odyssey September 2024 well done Chas.
